Merger a Significant Boost to Northland’s Real Estate Sector Property Brokers and Tait Real Estate Combine to Expand Reach and Strengthen Real Estate Services in Northland

Property Brokers is joining forces with longstanding Whangārei company Tait Real Estate.

The alignment with one of the most trusted real estate brands in Te Tai Tokerau is a perfect fit for Property Brokers, a company known as the ‘real estate company with a provincial heart’.

Property Brokers Managing Director Guy Mordaunt says he is thrilled to announce the merger with Tait – a company operating since 1960.

He says Tait officially joins the Property Brokers whānau on November 15.

Mordaunt believes the partnership not only marks an exciting step for real estate services in Northland but over time will bring expanded expertise and strengthened community ties in the region.

“We’re excited to welcome the Tait Real Estate team to the Property Brokers family. Tait’s owners, John and Jenny Fairley, along with their talented team, have clearly been dedicated to making a positive impact throughout Whangārei and Kaipara Districts,” says Mordaunt.

“Our commitment to clients remains clear – we are here to support the people of Northland and deliver the best possible outcomes on every property journey.”

Tait Real Estate brings a legacy of local expertise, especially in Whangārei and Kaipara’s residential, rural, and commercial sectors,” says Mordaunt.

Legacy projects like Okara Shopping Centre and Gumdigger Place, are well-known community landmarks in Whangārei, thanks to the foresight of the Fairley’s.

“We are proud of our history in Whangārei and Kaipara and are excited to combine our strengths with Property Brokers. This partnership allows us to embrace new technology and marketing tools, while still delivering the personal, accountable service our clients trust and deserve,” say the Fairley’s.

“Property Brokers shares our dedication to total client satisfaction, so we are thrilled to work together and grow this alignment of values and professionalism.”

Whangārei-based Beth Tweedie, Tait Real Estate Licensee Salesperson, is equally enthusiastic and has taken on the key role of Branch Manager for the new combined team.

“It’s fantastic to join a family-owned company committed to achieving better outcomes for the community,” says Tweedie.

“There is a clear synergy between Property Brokers and Tait, and we are all excited to boost our service offering in the north by combining our equally passionate teams who truly care for provincial New Zealand.”

Simon Short, Property Brokers Regional Manager for South Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Northland, has also welcomed the expansion.

“This merger is more than just a blending of names – it’s a shared vision for delivering outstanding real estate services in Northland,” says Short.

Clients will benefit from enhanced expertise and the support of a larger, unified team. We’re eager to introduce new processes that will elevate our service even further.”

The integration of Tait Real Estate into Property Brokers will ensure clients continue to receive high-quality service, with Tait’s familiar faces serving the Northland community under the Property Brokers brand.

With over 90 locations and more than 850 professionals, Property Brokers is New Zealand’s largest family-owned provincial real estate company. As a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World,

Property Brokers combines local expertise with international reach, connecting clients to a network spanning 70 countries.
