Harcourts leads the way as Premier Auctioneering brand at LVD Championships


Harcourts proudly showcased its auctioneering excellence at the LVD Auctioneering Championships in Queenstown held from Sunday 9 – Tuesday 11 March.


With strong representation across all three divisions; Budding Star, Senior and Premier. With Harcourts competitors making up over half the field, our presence was well and truly felt throughout the event.


Harcourts extends its congratulations to our winners and finalists:

  • Premier Division Winner: Mark McGoldrick – Harcourts Monarch Real Estate - Hamilton

  • Budding Star Winner: Jack Sumich – Property Ventures - Alexandra Park

  • Budding Star Finalist: Sharni Bichan – Harcourts Highland Group - Balclutha

  • Premier Division Finalists: Aaron Davis - Harcourts Australia & Kyle Siebert, Harcourts Holmwood - St. Albans.

Harcourts New Zealand National Auction Manager, Shane Cortese, expressed his excitement for the future of auctioneering within Harcourts saying,


“The talent on display at this year’s LVD Auctioneering Championships proves that the future of auctioneering at Harcourts is incredibly bright. The dedication, skill and passion shown by our competitors is inspiring - and it’s fantastic to see such strong participation across all divisions.


We are committed to fostering and developing the next generation of auctioneers, ensuring Harcourts continues to lead the way in the industry. We now look ahead to the REINZ Auctioneering Championships in April and the Harcourts Auctioneering Competition in May, where our auctioneers will have another opportunity to showcase their talent on a national stage.”


Bryan Thomson, Managing Director of Harcourts New Zealand, also shared his pride in the Harcourts competitors, and said, “Auctioneering is one of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of real estate and we are immensely proud of all our Harcourts competitors for stepping up to this stage.


The LVD Auctioneering Championships serve as a fantastic platform to sharpen skills and build confidence. A special thank you also goes to Lisa Yardley-Vaiese and Sarah Williams for their invaluable contributions as VIP Officials. Congratulations to all involved, we can’t wait to see what’s next for our talented auctioneers.”
