Dynamic Business Partners Acquire Ray White Tauranga to Build Thriving Real Estate Team"

David Hart and Rodney Fong, esteemed business partners, have taken over Ray White Tauranga as its new owners.

Since 2011, Rodney has been a part-owner of Ray White Tauranga, where he, alongside Ian and Rachel Grindle, served as the sole sales staff.

On the other hand, David Hart previously owned Ray White Bayfair and Te Puke until last year when Rodney came aboard as a principal.

Given their years of experience working together, David described purchasing Ray White Tauranga as a natural progression. "I have known Rodney for 15-16 years, first as a salesperson and then as a business owner," he said.

Throughout this time, David owned Bayfair, Te Puke, and Tauranga Commercial, and Rodney served as an auctioneer for the team's Bayfair, Te Puke, and commercial offices. Almost a year ago, Rodney acquired a 50% shareholding in the three offices, making it a great opportunity to purchase the Tauranga office when Ian and Rachel decided to step back.

Rodney's primary focus for Ray White Tauranga for the next year is recruitment. He stated, "We feel confident that we can provide a great environment for our salespeople to thrive. We would like to establish ourselves as a leading office with the best systems for our salespeople and the best culture. We want to be known for having good, ambitious, hardworking people in our team."

Treena Drinnan, the chief agency officer for Ray White New Zealand, congratulated David and Rodney on their new business venture.

She said, "David and Rodney have been successful business owners in the Ray White family for some time. It's exciting to see them come together and continue their partnership by expanding to Ray White Tauranga, which is a complimentary addition to their existing business. I look forward to witnessing all they achieve in the future."
